Description
This photocopy of a photograph names four of the nine people photographed. The man in the middle of the bottom row is identified as Tate, the Superintendent. He is flanked to his right by Mr. Dowell and to his left is Mr. Brandt. The only person identified in the back row is Ms. Goldsmith on the far right. At the bottom of the page, reads "cc: Dr. Donald T. Hata" and "cc: Yukio Mochizuki," which indicates that this image was part of the research that Mochizuki was conducting under the tutelage of Donald Hata for an independent study at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
