Photograph caption dated April 8, 1980 reads, "Mark Allen Kaletta, 21, of Los Angeles is shocked after the truck he was driving struck a car in West Los Angeles yesterday, killing the car's driver, according tot he California Highway Patrol. Richard Williams, 50, of Santa Monica was killed immediately after his car was hit at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard. Authorities said Kaletta was hit in the face by an insect, probably a bee, and was momentarily distracted. He braked to avoid hitting a small car in front of him, but the truck swerved into the intersection and hit Williams' car. Neither Kaletta nor the driver of the small car was hurt."
