Exterior view of Los Angeles Union Station, located at 800 N. Alameda Street. Union Station was designed by the father and son team of John Parkinson and Donald B. Parkinson, and opened in May 1939. In 1980 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, Building #80000811. This photo shows numerous palm trees, arched windows, and the tower and clock, which reads 2:50 pm. A yellow truck riddled with graffiti and advertising "Francisco Hauling" blocks the entrance, as it drives past. Also visible is an MTA bus heading in the opposite direction. Photo dated: October 7, 2005.
