Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Shell Oil Company, showing three cylinders on a concrete platform, ca.1940. Three tall cylinders stand in a row at center with metal, grated walkways connecting them. They stand on a large, fenced, concrete platform with a staircase on the right that leads to the ground below. Small, rounded balconies protrude from the right side of the cylinders with machinery on the top of a building just next to them on the far right. What appears to be a walkway extends over the foreground on the left with lines of intersecting pipes overhead on the right
