Photograph caption dated May 11, 1965 reads, "Whoa boy! - Astride a two-legged, long-necked, 50-mile-an-hour feather duster, affectionately known as Jughead the ostrich, Stevie Hernandez, 4, of Canoga Park casts a suspicious look at his mount. Helping Stevie is Jughead's trainer, Eldon Daniel. Assisting in the activity, which was to promote the Coliseum circus benefit for youth centers, were Sister Anne of Guadalupe Youth Center in Canoga Park and Nancy Hodges, 4, of Canoga Park."
