Narainpur Pigekostskole, grundlagt i 1924 af missionær Signe Kampp. Fra 1951 blev missionær Ellen Laursen leder, og det blev hende, der kom til at udbygge og præge skolen, som 1960 også fik gymnasium. Skolen havde i en årrække 6-700 elever. Ellen Laursen fik bl.a. opført nye skolebygninger og boliger til elever/ansatte. Og hun tog initiativ til opførelse af en ny kirke, der blev indviet i 1971. West Bengal, North India. Narainpur Girl's Boarding School, founded in 1924 by Missionary Signe Kampp. From 1951 Missionary Ellen Laursen being the principal, extended and developed the school, in 1960 also to include a High School. For some years the school had 6-700 students. New school buildings, hostels and staff accommodation etc. were constructed. And she was initiater of the new church building, consecrated in 1971. The school became a lifelong engagement for Ellen Laursen, until she died in 1982.
