B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. K. Hopper saying that detailed materials of a matter discussed in Hopper's May 6th letter have been kept at Osaka Works of SEI (Sumitomo Electric Industries). To answer Hopper's questions from his May 9th letter, Inoue reports that the Tokyo CCS (Civil Communications Section) committee disappeared within 10 years after the last session of the CCS seminars and that Inoue introduced the contents of the CCS seminars to the managers of Matsushita Electric. He also adds that statistical Q. C. was spread all over Japan by J.U.S.E.'s (Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers) achievement. Inoue goes on to say that he looks forward to receiving a draft of Hopper's article. The letter contains Inoue's signature. The letter also contains an original handwritten "30" on the top, right corner of page 1 and original markings. In addition, the letter contains handwritten notes.
