Description
Peter F. Drucker lectures for his class, EMGT 338: Information Based Organizations. He begins by talking about his past as a reporter and newspaper editor. He discusses the differences between private and public education. He explains the role of physical assets in knowledge-based organizations. Drucker talks about the missions of government-based organizations, like NASA, and what to do when the mission changes. He ends his lecture by discussing risk management and the importance of spending money on preventative care. The video transitions at about 01:00:19.
