Description: Gambling suspects hide their faces as they walk from the police station and into a patrol wagon following their arrest on gambling charges. Suspects were caught gambling in a suite of rooms on Melrose Avenue. Detectives had climbed a nearby tree to look through a window to get a view of the suspects. Photo dated: December 2, 1948.
