Photograph caption dated December 24, 1958 reads, "Foreign Christmas theme - Picture at left is home of Mrs. John Wright, 15832 Vose St., Van Nuys, which illustrates French Christmas. Home of R. M. Temple, at 15755 Vose St., shows Christmas with American Indian. There are 26 homes on Vose street between Gloria avenue and Haskell avenue taking part in 'Around World' theme. One house used North Pole, another Switzerland. Cost of decorating each home ranged from $20 to $100. Neighbors say there is steady stream of traffic going by at night.
