Description
The 600 block of Sacramento's K Street is the focus of this early divided-back card, postmarked June 1909. Wasserman and Gattman's Nonpareil fancy and dry goods store moved over from J Street in the 1890s to 610-618 K Street next to John Breuner's furniture emporium, which had been at 600-608 K Street for well over 20 years by then. A few window-shoppers appear in this painted scene card made in Germany for the Sacramento Post Card Company, but the color ends at Sixth Street.
