Photograph of cyclists participating in sponsored by the Los Angeles Times Bicycle Club Run, Pico Boulevard near Western Avenue, looking east, September 4, 1895. A line of nine men and women ride their bicycles down an unpaved road in what is apparently open countryside. The Immaculate Heart Convent can be seen to the right as well as a house that is partially visible behind a patch of trees in the background.
