Small rectangular windows can be seen near the top of the columns, and rectangular panels are also visible near the bases. Across the arch, a large sign is visible that reads: "Big Pines--L.A. County Camp". At the center of the arch, a small sign reads: "1926". Inside the campgrounds in the extreme background, a line of automobiles can be seen near two large buildings. Trees are visible beyond the buildings.
