Description
Santa Fe opened the Moorish-inspired La Grande railroad station, located on the corner of 2nd and Santa Fe, on July 29, 1893. It was used as a passenger terminal for Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The station was damaged in the 1933 Long Beach earthquake, and was replaced by Union Station in 1939.
