Description
A San Jose Railroads Birney streetcar traveling southbound on First Street near the California Theatre. The marque for the American Theatre can be seen on the left hand side. Construction of the Bank of Italy tower can be seen in the background. In 1927, the California Theatre moved across the street to a new site.
