Description
Album compiled by Joseph Isamu Fuchita documenting his time serving for the Army during and after World War II. Some of the photos in the album were removed, but there are still notes about the photograph that was there. The Akamine and Fuchita Family Papers include letters, certificates, photographs, scrapbooks, high school yearbooks, and other materials related to the Akamine, Fuchita, and Yasumura families. Subjects in the collection include the Manzanar and Rowher incarceration camps, Koyasan Buddhist Temple, Buddhism, World War II, and Japanese American families, and other topics.
