Description
"Zwei befreite Sklaven-Mädchen im Dienst von Geschwister Meyer in Rungwe. Links Mumbi, rechts Mwabura. Etwa 1894." ("Two freed slave girls in the service of Brethren Meyer in Rungwe. On the left Mumbi, on the right Mwabura. About 1894."). The two girls dressed in white cloths with dark borders and dark pieces of cloths used as belts standing in front of greenery.
Parts of the photo have been mended with black-and white paint.
