Description
Can't you just picture a 65,000-seat stadium in this 80-acre, 160-foot deep gravel and rock pit adjacent to the 210 freeway? Developers are hoping to use this gravel pit in the Irwindale area as a proposed site for the LA Raiders to build a new stadium should they move from the Coliseum. Photograph dated July 24, 1987.
