Photograph caption dated June 5, 1956 reads "Boulevard stop signs are painted red so that all vehicles, including bicycles, will stop before proceeding. This group of school children failed to stop and are in a dangerous situation as autos streak by. This is second leading cause of bike accidents." The boys are students from North Hollywood Junior High School, demonstrating in a series of pictures how not to ride a bicycle.
