Description
The rock formation known as Castle Rock appears here in a view looking west toward Malibu. Two figures pose in the foreground overlooking the Roosevelt Highway (later Pacific Coast Highway). Castle Rock was demolished to expand the highway just after World War II. Although undated, the postcard is probably from the early 1930s.
