View of the Masonic Temple at Montgomery and Post Streets. Men and women on sidewalk, men on horseback on the street. Shows three-story, gothic building with mansard roof over clock tower. Text below the image: "Britton & Co. Print. Clark & Kentzer, Architects. C.C. Kuchel Lith. 176 Clay St. S. Francisco. 160 feet on Post St. To top of Ballustrate 79 feet. 75 feet on Montgomery St. Tower 139 feet. Erected in the years 1860 and 1861, by the Masonic Hall Association of the City of San Francisco."
