Seven views of the Golden Gate River mine on the Feather River near Oroville. Frank McLaughlin, General Manager, N.A. Harris, Superintendent. The first three views contain a list of 20 images on the back of the photo.
View 1, 2007-0168 (no. 2 on the image) shows a portion of the claim -- view 2, 2007-0169 (no. 11 on the image) shows the head log dam and the flume at the left carrying water from the Feather River -- view 3, 2007-0170 (no. 12 on the image) shows the head dam, main flume (left) and sub-flume (right) -- view 4, 2007-0171 shows flume above rocks (left) with man standing on the side, water pouring from flume, sub-flume at right in river.
View 5, 2007-0172 shows log dam with waters forming a lake behind the dam -- view 6, 2007-0173 shows water pouring from a break in the flume -- view 7, 2007-0174 shows water pouring between rocks, portion of dam or flume at left.
