Photograph caption dated May 6, 1957 reads "George Shutts, 70, of 638 E. Santa Anita Ave., Burbank, has retired after four years as dealer for Valley Times in Burbank area. Shutts, shown picking up his first load of papers, explained that an old knee injury made it impossible for him to get around any more."
