Description
Leo Katz, who did some of the large murals for the Exposition of Progress in Chicago, is given the lion's share of space in this exhibition, with drawings for his murals executed under the Public Works of Art Project for the Frank Wiggins Trade School (now the Los Angeles Trade Technical College), which has been called "The Progress of Civilization." Mr. Katz, who is widely known as a lecturer on art, has made an extended study of Aztec art, and this photo shows his study of Aztec civilization. The exhibition will be open to the public each afternoon during the month of November 1934. Lectures will be given Wednesday noons and Saturday mornings by well-known mural painters.
