Description
Group portrait of young men and women against a studio backdrop, possibly San Jose State Normal School graduates. The women are wearing white dresses and the men are wearing suits with short trousers and boots. All of them are holding diplomas in their hands tied with ribbon, as well as ribbons pinned to their lapels. The women all have large white bows in their hair. The woman in the center appears to be a teacher, and the two women seated on either side of her are holding bouquets. Written on reverse, "L to R (center trio) Maria Kohler Campbell, Mrs. Olinder, and Edna McCormick Johnson." A piece of paper has been taped to the back listing more names: Edith Eachus (Patheal) Irene Ferguson (St. Claire, Cunningham) Marie Kohler (Raffinella Campbell) Edna McCormic (Johnson) Dora Leufest May Thomas Beulah Stiles Walter Carlson John Avila Maurice Wood Leslie Coltrin Lewis Reese Harry June 1916 Hi S. 1920
