Description
Photograph caption dated October 7, 1958 reads, "First cement blocks - Workmen at A. H. Prince stone-tile and construction company prepare first cement blocks in community of Lankershim, now known as North Hollywood, in 1911. Prince was concrete contractor and marker of concrete building material, in addition to owning fruit ranch. More photographs of area will be published through Saturday."
