Description
The home of William Squire Clark originally stood on the northeast corner of Ninth Street and Santa Clara Street when it was built in 1870. About ten years later, the house was moved to The Alameda, between Schiele Avenue and what is now Pershing Avenue. The Clark estate extended to Stockton Avenue to the east, covering seven acres, and stood until about 1920.
