Written on back: "TIRED DRAGON. SAN FRANCISCO: Even dragons get tired and have to take a rest. Above, the motive power (human) of the new Chinatown dragon is replaced by a fresh crew, during the Chinese New Year parade here 2/2. Note lad with tongue hanging out (R) getting a breath of air. The head of the dragon weighs 125-lbs., and its man power is replaced every block or so.
