Description: At the horseshoe pitching grounds, prominent Uplifters are pictured twirling the irons on September 12, 1936. Left to right, Irving Hellman, Joe Musgrove, Joseph Scott, Hans Koebig and Sam Miles. The "big shots" have been camping at the ranch, staging circus parades, burlesqued athletic contests, and costume parties including a "Low Jinx" and a "Tough Jinx."
