Photograph of Broadway looking north-east from 10th Street (now, Olympic Boulevard), showing Christmas decorations along the sides of the street, December 1930. At center, Broadway. can be seen extending into the far background at center. Street car tracks line the center of the paved road. On either side of the street, small lampposts line the sidewalk. Near some of the lampposts, small Christmas trees covered in lights and ornaments can be seen. In the foreground at right, a small wreath hangs from the center of a lamppost. Large buildings loom above the street further left or right. Legible signs include, "United Artists", "Texaco", "Southern California Gas Company", and "Radio Supply." Originally, the image was captioned as "Hill Street north from 8th Street, showing Christmas decorations along the sides of the street, December 5, 1929".
