Often referred to as either a summer playground where you can fish, swim, hike, hunt, go horseback riding or water ski, or as a winter resort of skiing, tobogganing or ice skating, Big Bear Lake today rapidly is becoming a year 'round resort area." Photograph caption reads, "Popular spot - Paramount Lodge is the largest resort in Big Bear area. Here guests gather around the attractive pool - one of the finest in Big Bear.
