Description
Several Los Angeles Fire Department companies conduct an emergency earthquake preparedness exercise, simulating evacuation and treatment of 25 "victims" of a spill of highly toxic gas at Riker Laboratories in Northridge. The "victims" were actually nursing students from Northridge Hospital, where they were transported for "treatment." Photo dated: February 9, 1986.
