Description: Ambulance driver Walter Gray prepares hit-and-run victim, Pvt. James L. Kopenick for transfer to General Hospital following treatment at Central Receiving Hospital. Kopenick was one of two National Guardsmen hurt when a hit-run driver collided with their jeep at Hooper and Vernon Avenues in the Watts area. Photo dated: August 17, 1965.
