First part of accompanying text: "Sarver's Mammoth Grape Vine Resort, Montecito, near Santa Barbara, Cal." This view shows a small vine trained on a trellis in the style of the Mammoth Vines..." Image is enlarged right side of stereo in sepia-tone, and includes text: "Copyright 1875, by M. Sarver. W.N. Tuttle, Photo." Image shows two men standing looking up at enormous bunches of grapes hanging from vines on trellis supported by slats of wood.
Photographer's No. 9 is part of caption on stereo print. M. Sarver is listed as Publisher of "Centennial Series of Mammoth Grape Views," Santa Barbara, and W. N. Tuttle, photographer, is listed as being in Santa Barbara as Tuttle & Fitzgerald, billed as "Heliographic Artists," 1875.
