Photograph caption dated March 14, 1962 reads "Mrs. Robert Jones." The article partially reads "The most popular and best-known approach to Lent by Christians is the selection of something to sacrifice during the period of lent--to give up certain foods or certain habits for a short period of time, and in many cases, this is all that we do." Mrs. Jones is chairman of the board of Christian education of the First Presbyterian Church of Van Nuys.
