Photograph of Mission San Juan Buatista, California, ca.1902. In the background at left, a line of small arches can be seen extending from the left to the far right. The arches support an awning for a long, rectangular building with a tile roof. A line fo trees runs parallel to the building. To the far right, the bell tower is visible. A small balcony surrounds the upper portion of the bell tower, and the top of the tower is perfectly flat. The ground surrounding the mission is very flat and deviod of much vegetation.
