Description
"Mr. Statistic," represented by a man in a skeleton outfit, is carried back to the "morgue" by Officer Ray Harrison (left) and Sgt. S. E. Mills after he made a speech before the Greater Los Angeles Safety Council on August 30, 1952, in an attempt to reduce Labor Day weekend fatalities. "Take it easy, or we may meet again sooner than you think," he said.
