Photograph article dated January 12, 1962 partially reads, "Raymond Steinberg, Valley WPC director, and Mrs. Clifford Hodel, vice president, presented the first WPC award of merit to Elaine and David McCann...in honor of their later [sic] father, DeWitt McCann, president of the Valley section of the organization. He died last Saturday of a heart attack." The award was presented at the annual winter dinner meeting of the Welfare Planning Council held in Sherman Oaks. Pictured, from left, are Raymond Steinberg, Elaine and David McCann, and Mrs. Clifford Hodel.
