Image is of a body dangling from a scaffold which is surrounded by armed militia and a multitude of people. The bay with some ships in it is in the background. Text under the image describes the execution. "Noisy Carrier's Publishing Hall. 77 Long Wharf San Francisco."--stamped text, below image on the lower left. Paper color: gray.
