V1p332a In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 332 top. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: " 'Little St. Francis' Temporary St. Francis Hotel, erected in Union Square after the fire of 1906." View looks northeast across Union Square and shows the Little St. Francis surrounding the Dewey Monument. Numerous ruined buildings are in the background, including the Shreve Building at Post and Grant.
