Description
Annotation translation: "He was formerly policeman in Peking. When he was appointed to work in a prison for a time, he found Christ. He then set out on an evangelisation journey with his wheelbarrow. Now a bicyle replaces his wheelbarrow. The banner attached to his bicycle displays the message 'God's gracious gift is eternal life'." Annotation: "Er war früher Polizist i. Peking. Als er einige Zeit im Gefängnis angestellt war, fand er Christum. Er unternahm dann eine Evangelisationsreise mit einem Schubkarren. Jetzt hat er den Schubkarren durch ein Velo ersetzt. Das an seinem Velo angebrachte Banner trägt die Inschrift: 'Das gnädige Geschenk Gottes ist das ewige Leben'." Note: Es besteht eine Unstimmigkeit zwischen dem Titel und der Anmerkung: Im einen Fall wird er als Gefangener bezeichnet, im anderen heisst es er sei Gefängnisangestellter gewesen. (PJ 10.1998). Note translation: There is an inconsistency between caption and annotation: "Gefangener" does mean "prisoner", but "angestellt" indicates that he was appointed to a position concerned with running a prison. (PJ 10.1998).
