Recording contains documentary "From Our House to the White House," originally comissioned by the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources (no longer distributed/available), which tells the story of Sam Queen and the Soco Gap Dancers from the Maggie Valley area of North Carolina and the incorporation of team clogging into traditional square dance. Recording also includes Fox movietone newreel clip "Mountaineer minstrels," featuring Bascom Lamar Lunsford and acoustic string quartet performing "Doggett Gap," also available at the Moving Image Research Collections at University of South Carolina.
