Description: Landscape view from a grassy hill of Pasadena, California, with flat empty land, agricultural fields, a few scattered trees and houses, and the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance, as seen from Bacon's Hill, located on the (modern-day) border between Pasadena and South Pasadena. Roads and a wood fence run through the area.
Title derived from Watkins New Series stereo #4791. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Transcribed from enclosure: "[Forms panorama with 74.618 and 74.620]. / [Marengo Ave. running N. to mountains. Glenarm intersects running E.W."
