Text written under photo: "Bill for services rendered & interest in ranch 1857. Where's the ranch?" Photo is of this written document.
Text written on document: "San Francisco Aug [missing], 1857. Recieved of J.W. Williams the sum of Two hundred dollars in full for all demands to date, for services rendered and also for my one half interest in a Ranch between the Mission Dollores [sic] and the Presidio, said Ranch having been conjointly the property of said J.W. Williams and myself." Signed by Isaac Tyson, Bery [?] Maloon, and a third who can not be identified.
