Photograph caption dated September 26, 1986 reads, "Lisa Cheevers, 24, sits under an 8-by-5-foot hole in the apartment of her friend, Mark Kiebermann, at the Halifax Apartment Hotel on Yucca Street in Hollywood. After a night of rain, "there was a roar" about 5:30 a.m. yesterday, Liebermann said, and he "thought the building was coming down." "A chunk hit the bed," Liebermann said, but he escaped injury. The 66-year-old security guard said it was the third and worst ceiling collapse since he moved to the apartment in 1976, but he will stay until it's fixed - unless it rains again."
