Photograph caption dated March 20, 1965 reads "Taft's Chester Arne, top photo, streaks to a 20.8 clocking in the 180-yard hurdles, pursued closely by Joe Rippinger of Granada Hills, while Lee Shalon (pictured) of Taft, above photo, wins 220 although pressed by Highlanders' Bill Varie. Taft won meet 68 1/2 - 44 1/2 to remain in contention for West Valley League track crown." See image 00157594 for additional photo in this series.
