Description
A dried, pressed specimen of Arctostaphylos cushingiana. This subspecies of manzanita was named in Sidney B. Cushing's honor by Alice Eastwood, Curator of Botany for the California Academy of Sciences, who spent years cataloguing and classifying the flora of Marin.
