Participating in the ceremony at the Ambassador Hotel are, from left, Murray Rosenfeld, Pep Boys executive vice president; Joseph Kaplan, general manager of the National Safety Council's Los Angeles chapter; Robert L. Evans of John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, Sun Valley; David C. Owens of Taft High School, Woodland Hills, and David C. Hermsen of Los Angeles High School, Los Angels [sic]."
