Description
Cheryl Rogers-Barnett discusses her book, “The All-American Cowboy Grill.” Cheryl Rogers-Barnett, daughter of Dale and Roy Rogers, explains that coming from such a large family they did a lot of cooking, which led her to compile this cookbook, which is a collection of recipes and photographs from various notable western film, television, and music personalities. They then discuss how Roy and Dale Rogers made Connie Martinson’s husband Leslie a director for the first time, helping to launch his career and how Dale Rogers also recorded Leslie Martinson’s song “On the Chihuahua.” She then discusses her work with the group called the Golden Boot, which raises funds for the charity the Motion Picture and Television Fund. From there she goes on to discuss some of the various recipes in the cookbook and the people that sent them in.
