Shown is a menu for the Sacramento Inn hotel restaurant, circa 1960. The Sacramento Inn opened on November 6, 1957, located next to Sears on Arden Way and Elvas Freeway, the modern Capital City Freeway (Business I-80). It was a locally owned and financed project, opening with one hundred four rooms, a 17,000 square foot restaurant and administration building which included dining rooms, a dance floor, an orchestra platform, seafood bar, cocktail lounge, television lounge, travel bureau, airline service desk, and a news and magazine stand.
